dad just got out of the hospital this evening. much better now.
and bean, they did check liver function apparently... doc says dad can't drink alcohol anymore :) mild, just-starting cirrhosis. (not up to spell-checking that at the moment...) but right now, they're thinking it was prob'ly some kind of spasm...
