dad was up to letting me be lazy while he took my car in for an oil change this morning; i figured it was time to take my leave. so now i'm back... and thus far, in four hours, have completely failed to make any significant process toward moving. what have i done? um, i got rid of all the rotten food in my refrigerator (it's all condiments from here on out, folks), took the nearly-overdue videos back, poked through the classic movies despite full awareness that i'd left my wallet in the car and thus wouldn't likely rent one, talked to one of the video store guys for a while, bought a turkey sandwich, came back, chatted with a couple jehovah's witnesses who showed up at my door, ate turkey sandwich, converted a pitcher's worth of frozen orange juice into unfrozen orange juice for the sake of getting rid of it, lit a bunch of candles and incense, re-hid the hide-a-bed, cleansed a few dishes, and decided i really needed a cup of tea.

that sentence ran on much longer than i expected, but it's irrelevant. none of this is packing. nor particularly industrious. grrr... oh well, at least the tea's good.
