any cheese experts out there?

it's from la mancha, like don quixote, though i tried to tell dave last night that it's from manchuria. typical american geography, eh?
but the whole point in getting it was to see if it was anything like pyrenees cheese, which i remember loving during my year as an exchange student. it has the black rind like pyrenees, the pyrenees are on the spanish border, it seemed plausible...
and while it's fantastically yummy, i'm sad to report that my taste-memory is less vivid than hoped. i'm still not sure how closely related they are. i'm pretty sure that this is harder cheese, and i think they taste similar...
better yet, anybody want to go to france and mail me some cheese?
