yeah, multiple choice like that doesn't leave much room for subtleties.
but hell, neither do american politics, unfortunately.
(having done even student government for a year, i can't believe how bush is trying to construe kerry's "record" of votes as anything meaningful. it's so easy to have a basic bill that is something else entirely by the time all the amendments pass or fail to pass.)
i ended up going with first instinct on the questions... which, in a lot of cases, is pretty wildly different from what i'd say if i sat and considered the implications.
