i missed the state o' the union drinking game by pretending to do my laundry... :(

but karaoke was fun. even if jenn, jeff, and i really don't know the words between choruses of "it's the end of the world as we know it." we missed you, steph, but thanks for the idea! and there's always next week.

and, um, i still need to do my laundry. tomorrow night. must be done. or else. because i imagine that nudity at work could get me fired.

Umm, sorry about karaoke last night. None of my group could stay out really late last night. I though about throwing back on my clothes and heading back out after I saw your away message but my body was already starting to go into sleep mode when I read it.

to be honest, i didn't even know the speech was happening. that's what ignoring the news for a few days'll get you. suppose i'll watch the tape tonight via internet. but without the vodka. it's just not the same when you already know how much it'll take.

and sorry you couldn't make it last night! jenn tried to AIM from her phone but couldn't get it logged in.

know anything about the swing night over at wooly bully's? i've never been over there, but i vaguely know they have one. and it's right there in walking distance if anyone wanted to get together pre-karaoke! (i'm craving dancing. it's finally hit me that i'm moving in with boy-who-does-not-dance-period-ever in a month.)

I really want to go out Friday night...and dance. I have to go to a wedding Saturday where I am hoping there is both an open bar and lots of dancing. I think though at this point I would just settle for the dancing.

But, yes- I have heard of swing dancing at Wooly Bully's. I don't know which night this goes on but I think the place even offers lessons.

We will have to partake- definitely before you move in with your lovable but non-dancing boy.

or even after! i've already mentioned that excessive playing of game-boy will result in girlfriend being bored and going out without him :)

but i could most certainly use some dancing before then, too.
